Hoo-Doo Motel - Drumheller

The location of the motel was very convenient as it was right in the middle of town, making it easy for us to explore the nearby attractions and museum. there were shops, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance, which was a great advantage. The retro-style rooms were clean, cozy, and quite comfortable. We enjoyed the nostalgic vibe of the room, and it added a unique touch to our stay.

One of the negatives of our stay was the noise from the old air conditioner, which was not only loud but also struggled to cool the room adequately. The thin walls were also a downside as we could hear when someone in the building turned on the water for a shower.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, providing a cozy and pleasant atmosphere during my stay. The staff was friendly and organized, ensuring a convenient check-in process and even providing receipts right away. This was especially helpful for my expense account. the motel was located within easy walking distance of a great pub and a grocery store, making it convenient for grabbing a bite or picking up any essentials. The proximity to the downtown area was also a plus, allowing me to easily explore the town during my free time.

Although the motel offered good value for the cost, the facility itself appeared a bit dated both on the inside and outside. However, this did not affect the overall comfort and cleanliness of the rooms.

The room was surprisingly clean and the beds were nicely made upon arrival. the air conditioner worked perfectly, providing much-needed relief during the hot summer days. I also appreciated the presence of a fridge in the room, allowing us to store our drinks and snacks easily. the motel's location was very convenient, with several restaurants within walking distance and other attractions just a short drive away.

One minor inconvenience was that the room had an outdated decor. instead of a coffee maker, they provided a kettle with instant coffee, which was a bit disappointing.
